What is LETS?

  • Liverpool LETs is a members based community group for anyone within Liverpool. We have members in the Wirral, Lancashire and St Helens. The community holds a database of all its members skills and services offered. Any member can request any of the skills/services offered by contacting the member involved.

    • Hows it work?

  • Once signed up, each member pledges atleast one skill/service that are willing to offer to the other members. They price the job accordingly but instead of real money changing hands the community currency called LETs is used. This ensures that the cost of any services stays within the group. Its this same currency that is then used to purchase any of the other member services on offer.

  • Membership is free for the time being, but the signup process is quite lengthly. Please take your time reading through all the information and then get signed up.   • Wondering what you could offer the community? The current members have compiled a list of wants, things they needed which are not currently offered on the site. Maybe you can help? some of the wanted include langauge lessons (janpanese, german, spanish), knitting and sewing skills, and cooked meals
